I love the look of this glider and I enjoy swinging in it very much. I was disappointed because there were a few chips in the cedar wood. Any yes, I hope the wood is cedar. I'm not positive. I'm hoping it is sturdy and will give me many years of pleasure.

I love it! It sits on my front porch overlooking my garden.
While the diretions were somewhat vague in spots, (e.g., the part about loosely attaching the screws) and it required 2 people to assemble, assembly took only about an hour and that was great.
